“I had an unfortunate accident where a glass container fell from a refrigerator shelf, shattering onto the floor. One large piece sliced deep in my inner right ankle leaving a jagged gash at one end. I did many healing actions over the next weeks to protect it from infection while using butterfly band-aids to hold the tissue closed and tight.

I knew I would be working with a scar.

Once there was sufficient healing to apply pressure, I gently worked the skin around the wound to both keep the tissue supple and encourage circulation.

I had the good fortune of securing several consecutive treatment sessions with Tabitha Hall to help me with my scar tissue healing. Her conscious and constant assessment with fluid movements as she moved lightly over and around the area of the wound was astonishing to me. I barely felt the gentle touch and yet, as the minutes passed, I began to feel a throbbing remembrance of the initial incident. The tissue was awakening!

I was so grateful that Tabitha encouraged and taught me simple actions to do at home for continued healing between our sessions.

By the end of only a few sessions the scar line had shrank and lightened too barely noticeable. I am thrilled to have fully recovered range of motion in my ankle and was able to walk the hundreds of miles of the Camino de Santiago with power and confidence.”

5 Stars!

“Tabitha does amazing work! I have had three left elbow ulnar nerve surgeries and two left wrist surgeries. The wrist surgery had a zigzag puckered appearance that was tender to touch, and the left elbow scar caused residual radiating pain, was tender to light touch, and caused a pulling sensation if I reached overhead.

There was also a dimple in my left forearm scar from the elbow surgery. In time, Tabitha was able to massage the scars to the point that the left wrist was supple and almost normal in appearance with no tenderness. The ulnar scar no longer has radiating pain, is no longer so tender to touch, and causes no tension when I reach overhead.

The best thing is that the results are long lasting, and once she has accomplished the goal, she does not insist on rescheduling. Tabitha is a warm, kind individual, and our conversations were always enjoyable during the scar massage, which was effective and not painful.

It truly has been a remarkable experience, and I am so grateful! As an orthopedic surgeon, I wish I would’ve known about Scar Massage early in my career. I give her my highest recommendation!”

“I met Tabitha in the fall of 2020. I suffer from an auto immune disease of the fascia and connective tissues. After working with a massage therapist for about a year, she recommended due to the amount of scar tissue present that I see Tabitha for her intense knowledge of scar tissue as well as her incredibly healing touch.

She came highly recommended by someone I really trusted, and I had high expectations that she could help my stiff body function better. I was impressed by her from the first appointment. After having leukemia and living in hospitals and becoming familiar with the typical way of patient treatment, I was blown away by her individual approach. She takes the time to see ME and MY body and MY areas of concern. She truly approaches each appointment with an open mind and heart to treat what we discuss as problem areas that are limiting my mobility.

The difference in my body from arrival to departure is life changing. I am amazed after each session that I feel “normal” in my body and move with much more flexibility and softness in my tissues.

Based on the nature of my disease, it often feels like we are fighting a losing battle; but, she not only gives all of herself to help treat me well, but she also is now considered a good friend who also cares about me as a person.

She is diligent in keeping up with her skills and always reading articles or books that would improve her knowledge to better impact her patients.

I had a scar on the right side of my chest from a port for chemo and my transplant. When that was removed, she was able to gently work on it, and within one session it went from raised, bumpy and irregular to almost flat and soft. The gifts she has given me go beyond the physical. Her expertise on scar work and helping the scar tissues in my body loosen up has made me able to be here longer for my children and to live the life I have been so blessed to have to its fullest. I am forever grateful to her.

If you or anyone you know suffers from any type of pos surgery scarring, limited mobility, or stiff or hurting areas, please reach out to her. You will not be disappointed! Her soul makes everyone around it elevate and she is a true gift and light to our community!”
